Russia`s Deputy Prosecutor General decline to remit accusation in terrorism to abducted human rights activist
Russia`s Deputy Prosecutor General Nikolai Shepel declined to redress of lawer`s griverance on illegal character of Kabardino-Balkarian prosecutor resolution to accuse Ruslan Nakhushev in organisation and mongering of terrorism.
Nakhushev`s lawer Anuar Dikinov informed that he received "a strange answer" for State Prosecution on his grievance. "In the letter, they inform me that Russia`s Deputy Prosecutor General Nikolai Shepel declined my redress. But the text of Shepel`s resolution has not been sent, and it`s illegal. I have the right to know, what was the reason to decline?" said Dikinov.
Lawer stressed that there are other strange facts - the letter from Supreme prosecution was sent not from Moscow or Rostov-on-Don, but from Nalchik`s post office,as the stamps say. But the letter contains official form of the Supreme prosecution. Dikinov is sure, thea the answer came from Kabardino-Balkaria Prosecution. "If I answer from the instance, about which I complain, it will clearly be negative. Such system is completely ineffective for people defense, but very effective for self-defense of system, where higher echelon is guided not by legislation but by corporative interests, so it`s easier to support unfounded claims, than recognize the mistake of republican prosecution", thinks Dikinov.
As it was already informed, Head of Islam Studies Institute, Coordinator of the Russian Islam Heritage North Caucasus foundation Ruslan Nakhushev was reported to be missing in Nalchik since November 4, 2005. Nakhushev, graduate of Committee of State Security Academy, personally participated in liberation of hostages in Chechnya, occupied with charity and human rights defense activity. Department of All-Russian Military Foundation helped ex-soldiers, law enforcement agents and families of killed officers.
Kabardino-Balkarian law enforcement agencies currently investigate two cases regarding Nakhushev - his abduction and accusation in terrorism. All agencies, including Prosecution, Federal Security Service and Interior Ministry, have no results in both directions, or they have not been publised.
"Today is exactly four months since Ruslan is missing. We still don`t know anything regarding his whereabouts. We are sure that he didn`t exit FSS building, because when he left to the interrogation he said "if I`m not back, I`m still there", says the sister of human rights activist Fatima Nakhusheva.
"Ruslan Nakhushev has been isolated by special services, because of statments of Kabardino-Balkarian President Arsen Kanokov regarding his cooperation with Nakhushev in settlement of the situation in the republic. Ruslan will surely be of use in it, as a patriot and very well informed person. But his information could brought to serious denunciation to several important persons", said in an interview head of Islamic Committee of Russia Geydar Jemal.
